Earth Care Witness
Purpose: Includes integrating into the beliefs and practices of Fayetteville Society of Friends the Truths that God's Creation is to be held in reverence in its own right, and that human aspirations for peace and justice depend upon restoring the earth's ecological integrity; Calling attention to what fosters or harms earth's exquisite beauty, balances and inter-dependencies;Guided by Spirit, working to translate this understanding into sustainable ways of living that reflect our responsibility to one another, to the greater community, the whole interdependent community of life on earth, and to future generations.

Peace and Justice
Peace and Justice Purpose: To encourage, support, and assist the Meeting and individuals of the Meeting in undertaking recommended peace and service projects approved by the Monthly Meeting. The committee may provide programs to highlight awareness of peace and justice issues and concerns, share peace activities and encourage corporate action on proposed minutes. A primary focus is education: the sharing of information on a variety of social concerns that individuals of the meeting are interested in, as well as suggested methods to address those concerns and issues.
